Summary
Former Governor Kathleen Sebelius won the governorship as a common sense Democrat in this traditionally GOP stronghold. Governor Mark Parkinson is continuing Sebelius’ work strengthening schools and increasing energy independence. Under his leadership, wind farms have tripled and the state will become the home of the National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility.
