Elections
Democrats now hold 28 of the nation’s governorships, but in 2009 and 2010, 39 governorships are in play. Add to the sheer number of seats the critical role those governors will play in redistricting, and you’re looking at an election that happens only once every 20 years – and one that could influence our country’s political landscape for generations to come.
Along with redistricting, the future of America’s economic recovery and President Obama’s agenda of change is at stake.
